Vimeo Festival Awards

vimeo vote

I’m really happy to annouch that my film has been shortlisted to the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards in the Remix category. During the next round, my film will be reviewed by the Remix category’s three judges: Beardyman, Kasumi, and David Dewaele.

From April 17-30, Vimeo will also invite the public to watch the shortlisted videos and vote for their favorites. The finalists for each category will be announced on June 1, with the winning videos unveiled at the Vimeo Awards show in New York on June 7. I’d really appreciate it if you would vote for me! Thank you! You’re awesome!

‘t Hoogt and Holland Animation Film Festival

I submitted Synchronize to Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) and it was unfortunately not selected. However my school Utrecht Schools of the Arts (HKU) is working together with HAFF and they are exposing some films from their students in the dinnercafe ‘t Hoogt, which is a filmtheatre in Utrecht. So my film gets a little exposed at HAFF after all.

The official opening of the exposition is on 29th of march 2012. And make sure to check out the cool work from my classmates.

At Dropstuff.nl they selected my film for the open podium program, which i’m very happy about. The film will be shown on public tv screens that are located on central squares and railway stations. They also broadcasts on smaller screens in museums, cultural institutions, schools and on the Internet on live.dropstuff.nl. All screens and the website are mutually connected.
